Competition Programme
Part 1 – Competition
- 09:00–10:00 — Registration and warm-up on the course
- 10:00–10:30 — Gathering, official opening of the event
- 10:30–12:10 — Pairs play, one round (meadow course)
- 12:10–12:36 — Break, preparation for the individual competition
- 12:36–15:00 — Individual competition, round 1 (meadow–forest course)
- 14:30–15:30 — Lunch (soup), socialising
- 15:30–18:00 — Individual competition, round 2 (meadow course)
- 18:15 — Awards ceremony and grand prize giveaway
In both rounds the “Golden Kick in Hole 13” discipline is played. Programme may be adjusted depending on the course of the event.
Part 2 – Informal Part
- 19:30 — Sigulda Footballgolf Park garden party with DJ
- Bring your own picnic basket
Disciplines
Pairs play – 1 round (meadow course). Man + man and woman + woman pairs (e.g. father+son, brother+brother, friend+friend, mother+daughter, sister+sister, etc.). Men's and women's pair results are scored separately. From 10 years of age. Mixed pairs (woman+man) are allowed; mixed pairs start with the men's pairs group and their results are counted under the men's discipline.
Individual competition – 2 rounds (meadow–forest course and meadow course). Men's and women's results scored separately. The order of rounds may be changed. From 10 years of age.
“Golden Kick in Hole 13”. Played only within the individual competition (both rounds); the distance achieved by men and women is scored separately.
Important Information for Participants
- Playing in cleats is prohibited; artificial-surface football footwear is allowed;
- Players may use their own size 5 football. Changing the ball during a round is prohibited unless it is irreparably damaged (assessed by the referee), and the air pressure (min. 0.07 bar) may not be changed during a round;
- Alcohol consumption is prohibited during the competition part of the event;
- Players are divided into groups that start every 6 minutes; group composition and start times are drawn and published in the gscore.eu once registration closes;
- Participants in the individual competition only register between 11:30 and 12:00 (warm-up in the course allowed on free holes without disrupting pairs play);
- On 28 August, registered participants may train free of charge from 11:00 to 19:00 (proof of paid registration fee required);
